Pharmacy First scheme is open to all patients registered with a doctor in the HOBtPCT. If you think you are suffering from one of the illnesses listed below, go to your local chemist.
Athletes Foot, Blocked Nose, Cold Sores, Constipation, Cough & Cold, Cystitis, Dry Skin, Ear ache, Ear Wax, Eczema, Fever, Hay fever, Head Lice, Headache, Heart Burn, Migraine, Mild Sun Burn, Minor burns, Mouth Ulcers, Napkin Rash, Period pains, Piles, Scabies, Sore throat, Teething, Teething, Threadworm, Thrush, Warts.
Non NHS examinations and private services
Medical examinations for HGV, PSV, Insurance, Employment, etc. can be arranged by appointment. These examinations are not part of your doctor’s NHS duties and therefore a fee (in the range recommended by the BMA) is payable. Similarly, claim forms for holiday cancellation, medical insurance, sport, school or university or employment passport applications etc. are subject to charges; details are available at reception. These services as recommended by the British Medical Association.
